Charitable trust fund

The Fuellers Charitable Trust Fund Registered Charity Number : 288157 Mission Statement The Fuellers Charitable Trust Fund is for the relief of poverty, education, research and assistance to those causes primarily having a direct connection with the objectives of the Company, as directed in the Trust Deed and in accordance with its Policy of Giving.

Beer for the Boys

This has been a favoured charity of the Fuellers' since it was founded in 2007 by 216 Squadron who are based in Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. 216 is the refuelling squadron of the RAF which is affiliated to the Fuellers' Company. A major part of 216 Squadron is to transport troops to and from conflict zones. This includes getting home those who have been wounded and those exhausted at the end of a gruelling tour of duty. The aim of Beer for the Boys is to raise enough money each year to support the costs of a well-deserved free can of beer for all service personnel flying home which is served to them on board a 216 flights as soon as the aircraft is out of the conflict airspace and the troops can sit back, take off their body armour and then enjoy their cold can of beer. What a marvellous way for the Fuellers through our Charitable Trust Fund to say a tremendous thank you to these heroes and to contribute to such a worthwhile cause. This is just one of a number of good causes supported by our Charitable Trust Fund.  Buy a tired Hero a beer click here.

British Red Cross - Jail & Bail

On May 28th 2012 our Master Stuart Goldsmith was thrown into the Tower of London and the Fuellers Company set the task of raising a substantial bail to release him. The funds raised to be split between the British Red Cross and The Fuellers Charitable Trust fund (CTF).

The Trustees are pleased to report that due to the generosity of members of the Company the bail was raised and donated to the British Red Cross with the balance being for the Fuellers CTF. In turn our Master was released and allowed to continue with his Masters Weekend and enjoy the Royal Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Many thanks to all who joined in the fun and donated.

Awaiting an Update

Stockwell Park School

The Worshipful Company of Fuellers has built up a working relationship with Stockwell Park High School over a number of years. This has involved the development of a Cadet Force, as well as prizes for student achievements. The School has flourished under the Headmistress, Judette Tapper CBE, and has shown steady improvements in academic success as well as several extra-curricular programmes to encourage students to aim for success in their careers once they leave Stockwell Park.

The Fuellers have arranged talks from esteemed Liverymen, as well as visits to various sites, to broaden the students’ perspectives, and encourage them to undertake new challenges. The School has taken part in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, and there is an active Scouts group forming.

The Fuellers continue to work with Stockwell Park High School to find new ways of cooperating, and finding the best solutions by which we can assist in the development of students at this thriving Inner City London School.
