Industry Visit to Grain LNG

All Fuellers are invited to visit Grain LNG on Thursday 20 August.

Grain LNG is the gateway connecting worldwide LNG to the European energy market. It is of strategic national importance to UK energy infrastructure and security of supply. On a site that spans over six hundred acres, it is the largest terminal in Europe and the eighth largest in the world by tank capacity (1.2 million metres cubed). It has a processing capacity of over 15 million tonnes per annum, 2 cryogenic lines, 2 jetties and simultaneious berthing capabilities. Each of the new LNG storage tanks is larger than the Royal Albert Hall with diameters of 92.4m and is 50m high.

Car: there is a visitors car park on site
Train: Ebbsfleet International is the closest station. Taxis are available to reach the site.

LUNCH
A sandwich lunch will be provided.

All attendees will need to provide Photo ID - either a current passport or Drivers Licence
