Common Hall

Common Hall is the Company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and is typically held after one of the year’s Court Meetings. Everyone is encouraged to attend and to vote – and if you cannot make the actual meeting then please vote by proxy.

 

This year’s Common Hall will be held at Merchant Taylor’s Hall on Wednesday 28 October 2026. It will follow immediately after Installation Court and whilst we aim to start it at 1645, if we are running slightly early then we will start it early.  If you are wanting to attend then please ensure that you are at Merchant Taylors’ Hall for 1630 and are outside the Drawing Room – the Clerk will tell members when Common Hall is about to start.

If you are able to attend please email the Clerk to assist him in ensuring a quorum is formed.
(It is assumed that members of Court attending Installation Court will also be present at Common Hall).

If you are unable to attend, but wish to be represented then you can do so by nominating a proxy to vote for you.
