This year's Affiliates Luncheon & Prizegiving will be held on Monday 9 June 2025 at Trinity House.  It will be preceeded by our Annual Thanksgiving Service at St Olave's, during which we will be signing the Armed Forces Covenant.

This is the principal event of the year that allows us to show our support for our affiliated military units and all of the hard work that they do - everyone is encouraged to attend.

Our Principal Guest is Vice Admiral Andy Kyte CB FCILT who was appointed Chief of Defence Logistics and Support (CDLS) in September 2023.

Andy is responsible for leading the Defence Support organisation developing and overseeing the implementation of a cross-cutting, pan-Defence strategy for Support, a c. £16billion per annum enterprise covering every facet of Logistics, Engineering and Equipment Support.

A career logistician, he has over 38 years’ service, including operational tours in Northern Ireland, the Arabian Gulf and Afghanistan. Previous appointments include Head of Defence Logistic Operations and Command of the High Readiness Joint Force Logistic HQ. In 2018 he was appointed Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Support Operations) where he was responsible for the provision of strategic level policy, planning and direction in support of current and contingent operations, which included BREXIT, COVID and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Prior to assuming the post of CDLS he led a study for the Chief of the Defence Staff, focused on increasing Defence outputs.

Andy is a graduate of the Higher Command and Staff Course and the London Business School. He holds an MA in Defence Studies and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He was appointed a Companion of the Bath in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List for leadership of Defence’s response to the COVID pandemic. He is the Chair of the Association of Royal Navy Officers, and its sister organisation, the Royal Navy Officers Charity.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, including the bereaved, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.
The Company will be signing the Armed Forces Covenant during our Annual Thanksgiving Service, which will also be signed by Vice Admiral Andy Kyte on behlaf of the MOD and representatives of each of our affiliated military units.

BOOK NOW
Tickets for the lunch cost £140 and you can book places for yourself and your guests on the Company website.
There is no need to book in for the Thanksgiving Service, but it would help with the organisation if you could indicate whether you are expecting to attend or not.
You should receive an automatic email confirmation for your booking. No Pour Memoires will be issued.

PROCESSIONS
The Company will process from Trinity House to St Olave's Church prior to the Thanksgiving Service, and process back afterwards.  It is a sedate two minute walk for everyone who would like to participate, but if either you or your guests would prefer then please make your own way there and back.
