Trinity House and the Women's International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) have collaborated to celebrate International Women in Maritime Day, with a seminar and reception at Trinity House at 1800 - 2100 on 13 May 2025, which all Fuellers are invited to attend.

The theme is an Ocean of Opportunities and they have a panel of leaders and future leaders from across the industry to offer their thoughts on the theme. Trinity House is hosting the event, and the Oil Company's International Maritime Forum (OCIMF) is sponsoring it.
There will be an hour of open session for the delegates to widen the discussion, with Sue Terpilowski, Chair of WISTA International's Diversity Committee facilitating the event. Following the seminar there will be a reception. The event ends at 2100. The panel is:

• Sarah Kenny Chief Executive BMT, former chair Maritime UK
• Lacey Griffin Former Trinity House cadet, marine superintendent at Trinity House
• Rachel Noronha Head of Shipping Policy, International Chamber of Shipping
• Monica Kohli President WISTA UK, Senior lawyer GARD UK
• Darrell Bate Director of Maritime Training and Development, Marine Society and Sea Cadets

This will be the third event by Trinity House and WISTA and we look forward to a stimulating and inspirational discussion.
