I’m looking forward to welcoming you to my weekend in Norfolk, a county of contrasting landscapes that sit close together.
We’ll be based at The Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club, Wroxham Road, Norwich NR7 8RP.
A large hotel, situated within five miles of Norwich City Centre, it also hosts weddings and conferences, but as of the time of writing, ours is the only group function on the calendar that weekend!

I have secured a number of rooms at the following daily rates, including breakfast:
 £119 for single occupancy
 £129 for standard room- double occupancy
 £159 for an executive room – double occupancy

The vibe for the weekend is relaxed and comfortable and the programme has lots of flexibility, with, I hope, something that appeals to everyone!

Options will include

 do nothing, just chill at the hotel and indulge in a spa treatment or a round of golf

 sightseeing in and around Norwich, the most complete medieval city in the UK with a stunning Norman Cathedral and Castle

 a visit to the Blickling Estate with its magnificent Hall

 A boat trip on the Norfolk Broads, an area of scenic waterways and gentle landscapes, full of wildlife and a rich history.

The idea is to offer everyone choices and to make this weekend our very own. While it will be wonderful if you could be there for the entirety of the programme, I recognise we all lead busy lives and late spring weekends can be particularly demanding, so if you can’t make the whole weekend, then choose the part of the programme that suits you best.  I encourage as many Fuellers as possible to come along and get “involved” as much as you can.

 
The specific programme will depend on levels of interest in each activity, but is broadly:

Friday 8th May
Kick off the weekend with a welcome drink and an informal barbecue at our hotel.

Saturday 9th May
After breakfast we will meet in the hotel lobby around 9:45 and for those wanting to venture further afield, head off for:
• A tour of Norwich City centre taking in the local sights with lunch locally.
• A trip to Blickling Hall including the RAF Oulton Museum with lunch locally

Returning to the hotel around 1600/1630, there will be plenty of time to relax and freshen up before joining up for drinks and dinner arranged from 1830. There is no formal dress code for any of the dinners or activities; just weather appropriate attire.

Sunday 10th May
After a leisurely breakfast, check-out of your rooms, and meet in the lobby for 1000/1030 to head off to the Norfolk Broads for a boat trip.  A trip of around two hours will be rounded off with a light lunch at a local restaurant nearby, before heading home.

ESTIMATED COSTS
In addition to the room charges above, together with the separate dinner and drinks charges for the Friday and Saturday evening, costs for group activities will vary according to the number of participants for your chosen activities.  For example, Green Fees for Golf, tickets to Norwich Castle or Blickling Hall, boat hire rates and coach transfers (where required).   My best estimate at present is a per person cost of approximately £200-£250 range for the full weekend.

TRAVEL
You can travel to Norfolk by car (the hotel has plenty of parking) or train to Norwich, with a short taxi ride to the hotel.
