Whilst there are numerous pancake races held the length and breadth of the country, the Inter-Livery Pancake Race is one of the most visually spectacular of them all. Organised by the Poulters, the Gunmakers provide (and fire) the starting gun, the Clockmakers time the races and the Fruiterers provide the lemons to go with your pancakes, which are readily available from stands in Guildhall Yard during the racing.
The 2024 race is on Shrove Tuesday (13 February) and the Fuellers have their full team out - so are represented in all four categories of races. The team now needs your supprt as they race around the Guildhall Yard tossing their pancakes!
The teams will be arriving and limbering up from 1115 and racing starts promptly at midday. Entrance is free. Afterwards you can enjoy a hot buffet lunch in the Crypt at Guildhall, which is caterered by The Clink.
