Come and join the Master, Ashutosh Shastri, on the Woolmen Sheep Drive on Sunday 27 September 2026 to drive sheep across Southwark Bridge.

This is a long-established charity event organised by The Worshipful Company of Woolmen and celebrates the ancient right of those Free of the City to bring sheep to market over the Thames. All funds raised go towards The Woolmen Charity and The Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

but you can still come and support and cheer on the Master's group - and enjoy the Livery Fair!

 

TIMINGS
Our drive time will be allocated later this month and all participants notified then.
The Livery Fair will run from 1000 until 1600.

BOOK NOW
The cost for participating is £75 per person.
There is no charge if you are supporting the drivers and visiting the Livery Fair.

DRESS CODE
The Lord Mayor and Sheriffs will be present in full regalia and the event will be televised with press and photographers. It is therefore suggested that gentlemen wear smart weekend or country attire with jacket, tie and badges, and ladies the equivalent.

FOOTWEAR
Suitable footwear for walking behind sheep is strongly advised.

MINIMUM AGE
Due to health & safety requirements, the minimum age for participants is 9 years old.
