Fuellers Sunday was held at St Olave’s Church a venue well known to the Fuellers as the location of our Annual Thanksgiving Service. Described by John Betjeman as ‘a country church in the world of Seething Lane’ it is one of the smallest in the city and one of only a handful of medieval City churches that escaped the Great Fire of London in 1666.

The Rev’d Phillip Dawson welcomed the Fuellers to their Holy Communion Service on All Saints’ Day. Master Ashutosh Shastri gave the first reading from Ephesians followed by Rev’d Dawson’s insightful sermon incorporating the Livery and the energy that connects us all.
Following the service and before lunch the Fuellers walked past the old Coal Exchange adorned with the plaque that was funded by the old Coal Meters Committee and the Fuellers Charitable Trust. It was unveiled by the Duke of Edinburgh in July 2020.
Louise Croucher Thompson, Senior Warden.
