Master Ashutosh Shastri, Senior Warden Louise Croucher Thompson, and Junior Warden Tom James were welcomed at Drapers' Hall into their new roles in the presence of our Liverymen, Freemen, guests and dear friends of the Company.

The theme for the year is a single word "INVOLVE"; a call to engage across the City, with other Livery Companies, policy-makers, students, and the defence community.
The Master announced two important developments: the Fuellers will now lead the secretariat of the Cross-Party Parliamentary Group at Westminster, enabling expert, apolitical energy dialogue with parliamentarians; and the Company will strengthen its long-standing relationship with the defence community through a new MoU with Air Fuels and Sustainable Energy Association (AFSEA).
The Court saw then Master Elena Oderstone carry out her final duties as she admitted 8 new Freemen and enrobed 1 Liveryman to the Company as well as enrobing the Master Carmen Elect Andy Miles as an honorary Liverymen of the Fuellers for his year of office. She then installed Ashutosh Shastri as our new Master who, in turn installed Louise Thompson as Senior Warden and Tom James as Junior Warden.
At the event we were delighted to be joined by Master Fan Maker Antony Robson, Master Wax Chandler Ian Appleton, Upper Warden Framework Knitters Jonathan Pears, Alderman Tim Hailes, and Chief Commoner Henry Pollard. Our affiliates were all represented at the evening and the Principal speaker was the Deputy Chair of Policy and Resources James Thomson CBE.
We all very much look forward to the year ahead.
